Lever Action Barrel Threading Full Services starting at $225

Lever Action Threaded Barrel - This standard package includes everything in order to thread a lever action rifle. To include shortening of magazine tube, moving of sights, moving of barrel bands. ~ $225

You will have four options to choose from when threading a 30-30 caliber rifle. This will be partially dependent on your rifles barrel diameter. Most lever action rifles are equipped with a sporter profile barrel. You will need a minimum diameter (we prefer .690) to thread for the standard 5/8-24 pitch for 30 caliber rifles.

Option 1: Thread to 1/2-28, this pitch is typically used on 22 caliber and 9mm barrels. This allows for adequate shoulder stoppage and thread engagement.

Option 2: Add custom machined shoulder to create use true 5/8-24 thread pitch. We will machine and add a shoulder into your existing barrel. See figure A. ~ add $60

Option 3: Thread to 1/2-28 and add a pin and welded 5/8-24 adapter. Note this will add length of the adapter to the end of the existing muzzle. ~ add $50

Option 4: Thread to 9/16-24 - In our opinion this is a better option than downsizing to 1/2-28 when the barrel diameter does not permit 5/8-24. This thread pitch is far less common than the other two, which may limit how and what you will be able to run on the end of your rifle. If you are unfamiliar with this pitch, it's best to choose one of the other options. Min barrel diameter for this option is .600 for adequate shoulder stoppage.

We also thread for large bore and have a variety of thread pitch options.
